The Neal's: Stagecoach 2008

My friend, Angela, called me on Monday, 4/28 to let me know she had free tickets to Stagecoach. She kept trying to think of someone she could give them to and our friend Monette said "How about Brad and Michelle, they like country music. Angela had forgotten about us because Brad and I are pretty new to the country seen. So, all said "THANKS ANGELA (MONETTE) FOR THINKING OF US, WE HAD A BLAST!!"

This day was awesome. Kathy was told she would be given a FREE ticket but in the end her friend flaked on her. So, Kathy being Kathy she said she would go anyways and just buy a ticket from a scalper or at the gate. As we were getting close to the parking lot we saw 2 guys selling tickets, Kathy had already decided that she wasn't going to pay more than $40.00 for her ticket from a scalper. One of the guys walked up to the car and said he wanted $80.00 for one. Kathy said "I only have $40.00." He said "well I can't take that, how about $50.00?" Kathy replied with, "I only have $40.00." This went on for maybe 1 more minute, if that, and the guy gave in :) Most of you know how it is when you buy a scalped ticket, you hope it is real. The entire walk to the gate Kathy, Brad and I were stressing that is wasn't going to work. The minute the scanner made the "normal" sound we knew we were in. If you ever need anyone to negotiate anything for you, Kathy is the person to call :)

I received a text from Mitzi letting me know how much fun she was having at Stagecoach. I had completely forgotten she was going to be there. I replied that I was there too. She was so excited!!! We eventually met up.
