On May 15th Kristian had a routine check-up/cleaning at her dentist office. She kept making sure she wasn't going to get a shot. I think she is still trying to figure out what exactly the "dentist" does. I told her, "if you keep your teeth really clean all the time you won't need a shot, dentists only give shots when there is a cavity." Kristian's first question to the dentist and her assistant was, "am I getting a shot?" Her next question was, "what kind of toothpaste are you going to use because I didn't like the last one (I think it was bubble gum)?" She was told they had a new flavor, cookie dough. I didn't think that one sounded much better but Kristian was excited. After the cleaning they put on the flouride, Kristian didn't like that at all. I kept telling her that they've done it before and she never complained. She couldn't remember, so I'm sure for her next cleaning she will be letting them know she didn't like the flouride :)
