My Brother's vacation to Machu Picchu & Cuzco

My brother and his wife Eliana (who I have blogged about before) were able to take a vacation to Machu Picchu & Cuzco earlier this month. The pictures are amazing!!!

Quoted from Chris: "The first two pictures are from the top of Waynapicchu which over looks Machu Picchu. Waynapicchu only allows about 500 people to go up a day and it takes about 1 hour to reach it after you arrive to Machu Picchu."

A little more from Chris: "I thank god that I was able to experience Machu Picchu. Did you know that Cuzco in qechua (qechua is the native language of the Incas) it means the belly button of the world. That’s where the Inca believed they where right in the middle of everything. Which is so true, Peru does not need anything from anyone. We have everything that one needs right here. I am glad that I am here and that god has given me the opportunity and skills that I need to get ahead in a country that is in a developmental boom!"

Stampede 2/23/08

Can you guess where we're at?!?!?! Yup, the Stampede. We had such a blast. This time Brad and Jason decided to ride the mechanical bull. It was hilarious!! I will get the video posted as soon as I'm able to make the file smaller.

Good Times!!!

My friend Selena thought it would be a good idea to have a BBQ at my house this past weekend with some friends. Excellent idea Selena!! What a blast everyone had:)

Stampede 2/15/08

I warned you in the "Urban Cowboy" post that these pictures were coming soon!!

Brad and I had so much fun on Friday with JR, Selena, my sister, and ALL of her nursing friends. We even stopped off at the Boot barn this weekend to get some gear. Brad walked out with his "new" hat. We decided to hold off on the rest of the gear until we go a couple more time. We are planning to go again this Saturday, yeeehaaa!!!
